Migdalia is an internationally acclaimed Mexican-British drummer renowned for her versatility in jazz, musical theatre, and beyond. Currently active in the UK’s musical scene, her credits include SIX the Musical, Little Shop of Horrors, and Cake the Musical.
A Berklee College alum and the UK Ambassador for Women in Jazz Media, Migdalia’s recent projects include the critically acclaimed EP Girl Facing South and album Point of Departure, recorded at Abbey Road Studios.
An endorser for Canopus Drums, Vater Percussion, Bosphorus Cymbals, and RTOM Corporation, Migdalia also supports young women in jazz through scholarships and masterclasses.
Named “Woman of the Year” in Mexico in 2022, she continues to inspire through her performances and advocacy.
